About artist: Adrienne studied Fashion Design in Dublin, followed by a career in Window Display + Design. She has been painting for many Years and has exhibited on St.Stephen's Green + has had two Solo Exhibitions. Working mainly in Acrylics/mixed media Adrienne's Work is almost always heavily Textured, this has been Her signature now for many Years. With inspiration from the sea featuring quite frequently, along with influences of Her favourite Island of Mallorca. Her work is hanging in Homes & Hotels from The Amalfi Coast to Australia and many Places in between. Adrienne has been taking part in The Outhouse Auction for Some Years. The Artist likes to think of Her Work speaking to The Viewer on a Vibrational level + whilst each piece has it's Own story, She loves to think of the Viewer finding Their Own meaning + element of escape in Her Work.
About artwork: Whilst out on a Boat trip with Family in Mallorca the boat stopped for Swimming. My Goddaughter who was very small wanted to jump into the sea with My Kids, Her Big Cousins. However, tho crystal clear with shades of turquoise, blues, greens & shimmering gold it was a little too choppy for the 7year old.  She desperately wanted to go in tho, hence the title! Wonderful Memories of a Happy Holiday & the stunning colours of the Sea that Day inspired Me to paint this piece. 80x80 cm’s squared it’s a high gloss finished mixed media piece on a stretched vinyl panel. Tho not shown in the photos the painting is framed in a deep black cradle/Tray Frame..
